‘United Fire’ assembly set for Friday

Faith leaders are preparing for their ‘United Fire’ assembly Friday at 7 p.m.

The event will take place at 1710 Government Street in Ocean Springs. Several different churches are coming together, welcoming all regardless of denomination to attend.

There were several of these unifying events hosted prior to the pandemic.

Now the event will be held outside to ensure social distancing, what Event Organizer Gary Smith calls a ‘church without walls.’ He said, “This is our first meeting back together which is beautiful with everything going on. We’re calling it ‘United Fire.’ We are just expecting the power of God to come show up in our community. We want to see revival here on the Gulf Coast, just a mighty harvest of souls. There’s nothing else we want besides every person to encounter a personal relationship with Jesus.”

Everyone is invited to come out to this event Friday.
