New Beers on the Coast

Beer enthusiasts now have three new tasty choices here on the Coast courtesy of Bell’s Brewery.

The Michigan based brewery plans to open up seven new territories this year with Mississippi being the first. The company shipped out cases to distributors across the state at the beginning of this week.

Tonight, the Hard Rock Café hosted a launch party to celebrate the company’s debut on the Gulf Coast. Attendees were able to taste what Bell’s Brewery had to offer with its three new beers: Two Hearted Ale, Oats Mobile, and Oberon.

Vice President and Co-owner of Bell’s Brewery Laura Bell said, “I think there’s a lot of opportunity for craft here in Mississippi. Obviously we make a beer called Oberon, it’s our summer seasonal and right here on the beach, in particular Biloxi and Gulfport, seems to go hand in hand. So, we’re looking forward to that.”

Anyone who purchased a pint of Bell’s Brewery beer during the party walked away with a souvenir glass.

According to the Brewers Association, the company is ranked number seven in America.
