NCBC gate hours set to change Friday
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The Naval Construction Battalion Center is updating their gate hours.
Beginning Friday, the Pass Road gate will be open 24 hours, seven days a week.
Meanwhile, the 28th Street gate will be open from 5:30 in the morning until 9 p.m. Monday through Fridays.
For the weekend, the gate opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m.
Base officials share the Broad Avenue gate will be closed until further notice.
They say the closure is due to a shift in operational needs, security personnel are needed to be assigned to other areas on the base.
