NCAA Baseball: Mississippi State vs. Samford

College baseball playoffs are finally back for the first time in two years after last season was canceled prior to any College World Series action.

Round one action taking place all day in Mississippi with three teams representing the Magnolia State.

Number seven ranked Mississippi State hosting Samford in the first game of the Starkville Regional.

State defeats Samford 8 to 4 and moves on to the winner’s bracket where the Dawgs will face the winner of tonight’s match up between VCU and Campbell.
