Navy Band Southeast Performance

Residents at the seashore highlands were toe tapping and clapping along as the navy band southeast performed earlier this morning.

Four members of the woodwind quartet played many pieces for the residents including the songs from each branch of the military.
Residents spoke with the performers about their own connection to the military.
They tell News 25 how special it was to have them perform at the facility.

“Each one was excellent in themselves and then together was wonderful and it means more than you can imagine, you don’t know our lives here but we have an activity director and she does a great job of bringing the world to us when we can’t get out into the world and it helps.”

This performance was of course part of the week-long Mississippi gulf coast Navy week.
