Naval Construction Battalion Center hosting 9/11 remembrance ceremony

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The Naval Construction Battalion Center is hosting a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday.

That is open to the public and takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Base officials will remember the lives lost, the first responders who answered the call as well as the resilience of the nation in the aftermath.

Those wishing to attend the ceremony should head to the base theater.
