National Pet Fire Safety Day with Biloxi Fire Department

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV) – Tuesday, July 15th, is National Pet Fire Safety Day. This day is dedicated to encouraging pet owners to take preventative measures against fire hazards and raising awareness about fire safety for pets. 

If you safely escape a house fire and realize your pet is still inside, do not go back in. Firefighters are trained and properly equipped to handle rescues in these dangerous situations.

Fire safety for your beloved pets is just as important as it is for your human family. Pet Fire Safety Day serves as a reminder that our pets depend on us to keep them safe.
