National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday

The Pascagoula Police Department offers a way for you to safely dispose of your unused medications during Saturdays’ Drug Take Back Day.
The national event serves as a way to collect expired, unwanted and unused prescription and over the counter drugs.
The DEA started Drug Take Back Day in 2010 as a way to put an end to drug abuse across the country.Last year, agencies across the country collected over 400 tons of pills.
You can drop off your prescription and over the counter drugs at the senior center on Live Oak Street in Pascagoula from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 22nd.
