National Day Of Racial Healing
While the marches and parades associated with the Dr. Martin Luther King Junior holiday are behind us, one Coast organization wants to continue the conversation of racial healing.
The Steps Coalition is partnering with the WK Kellogg Foundation to celebrate the National Day of Healing today.
That celebration began at noon with a ceremony at the JT Leggett Memorial United Methodist Church in Biloxi.
City mayors are scheduled to be hand to read proclamations along with leaders from many different faiths.
If you weren’t able to make that, tonight there will be a racial healing circle at 6 at Café Climb.
