National Day of Prayer celebrated in Biloxi

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV) – Women of Wisdom, a nonprofit organization based on the coast, joined local community residents at Biloxi City Hall for the National Day of Prayer. 

The National Day of Prayer is an annual day of observance in the United States, held on the first Thursday of May.  Participants gathered around to pray and lift their beloved town in spirits. 

Women of Wisdom has been throwing this event for years, and even with new leadership changes, wanted to continue the tradition in high spirits. 

Women of Wisdom has been empowering women and serving the Coast for 26 years through numerous services and programs. Everyone is welcome to join and take part. To learn more, visit wowcommunity.org
