National Day of Prayer

As multiple cities were also serving up plenty of prayer, part of Porter Avenue was closed this afternoon so that the city could honor a National Day of Prayer. Today was the 64th Annual National Day of Prayer and Ocean Springs has been honoring this tradition since 1997. This year’s theme was “Lord Hear Our Cry” as coastal Christians said prayers for our nation, county, and city to help leaders find guidance in these difficult times.
