Narcotics search warrant leads to multiple arrests in Pearl River County

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department announced that members of the narcotic division executed a search warrant for a residence in Picayune after a several-week investigation.

During the search, investigators recovered 11 pounds of marijuana, which was individually packaged for resale. They also found four semi-automatic pistols, one semi-automatic rifle, and over $3,000 which authorities believe to be from illegal narcotics sales.

Multiple people were arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled dangerous substance:

  • 48-year-old Lillie Terrell McDonald
  • 28-year-old Joe Gaston
  • 25-year-old Tabari Terrell
  • 27-year-old Tyler Terrell
  • 21-year-old Tayon Terrell

The operation was carried out with assistance from the Pearl River County SWAT team, the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, and the Picayune Police Department.

The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are possible.
