NAACP concerned about Moss Point schools
The Jackson County NAACP says they’re concerned about the quality of education being provided by the Moss Point School District.
Jackson County NAACP President Curley Clark says their monthly meeting this Saturday will focus on steps being taken by the administration to put the children in a better position to succeed on test scores and provide a quality education.
Dr. Shannon Vincent, superintendent of Moss Point School District, has been requested to provide the administration’s assessment and address concerns at the monthly meeting. They will also hear from the candidates in the upcoming school board election.
The monthly meeting is open to the public and will take place 7 p.m. Saturday, November 4th at First Baptist Church located at 4600 Main Street in Moss Point.
