Murder suspect in Gulfport turns himself in

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- A man accused of murder after a deadly shooting at West Side Park over the weekend has turned himself in.

Police say 32-year-old Kendall Jamal McCall of Jackson turned himself in Monday morning.

He allegedly shot and killed a bystander while at a family gathering at the park, during a confrontation tied to an ongoing feud.

Police say the victim was not involved in this feud in any way.

McCall is now facing first-degree murder charges.
