Murder Suspect Extradited

The man accused of killing five people over the weekend was extradited from Mississippi to Alabama.
Officials say 27-year-old Derrick Dearman entered the Citronelle home belonging to a relative of his girlfriend and murdered five people, including a pregnant woman.
Police say after the murders, Dearman forced his girlfriend and baby into the vehicle and drove them to his father’s home in Mississippi.
Officials say Dearman then released the two and turned himself into authorities.
According to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Department, Dearman will be charged with six counts of capital murder, including one charge for the unborn child.
Family members of the victims have started an online fundraiser to help pay for funeral expenses.
