Murder suspect arrested in Hancock County

A possible murder suspect was arrested in Hancock County.

Hancock County Sheriff’s Department received information from the Bienville Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana connecting 24-year-old Darrell Williams Jr. to five separate murders in Louisiana.

Deputies took Williams into custody on Tuesday and conducted a search of Williams’ residence where they found 3.5 pounds of marijuana.

Williams’ wife was also taken into custody on the charge of possession with the intent to distribute. The case is ongoing and the Hancock County Criminal Investigations is continuing to work with Bienville Parish.

Both Darrell and Casi Williams are currently being housed at the Hancock County Jail.
