Mural competition underway at Ocean Springs Library

Calling all local artists! You could have your work displayed in Downtown Ocean Springs.

The Ocean Springs Municipal Library and Walter Anderson Museum of Art are teaming up to host a mural competition as a way to beautify the exterior wall of the library’s newly renovated patio.

The mural will go along the curved back wall of the library that faces the Walter Anderson Museum.

For artists looking to enter the competition, the official prompt for the mural is ‘the magic of literacy and the power of place.”
