Municipal General Election Results

SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WXXV)-Voters in South Mississippi went to the polls Tuesday for the Municipal General Election. The polls are now closed.

The results for each race are below:

Bay St. Louis:

Ward 2:

• Eugene ‘Gene’ Hoffman IV (R)-199 votes
• Nancy Moynan (D)- 240 votes

According to the unofficial results, Moynan wins the seat for Ward 2.

Biloxi:

Mayor:

• Andrew ‘FoFo’ Gilich (R)-2,630 votes
• Andy Linville (I)-461 votes
• Farren Santibanez (L)- 187

According to unofficial results, Mayor Gilich wins re-election.

Ward 1:

• Wayne Gray (R)-459 votes
• Corey Christy (D)- 334 votes
• Stephan Santibanez-(L)-13 votes

According to the unofficial results, Gray wins the Ward 1 seat.

Ward 2:

• Felix Gines (R)- 175 votes
• Anthony Marshall (D)-282 votes
• Sonya White (I)-85 votes

According to the unofficial results, Marshall wins the Ward 2 seat, unseating incumbent Felix Gines.

D’Iberville:

Council at Large:

• Joey Bosarge (R)- 400 votes
• Crystal Wingo (I)-354 votes

According to unofficial, Bosarge defeats Wingo for the Council at Large election.

Gautier:

Mayor:

• Phil Torjusen (R)-786 votes
• Casey Vaughan (I)-1,757 votes

According to unofficial results, Vaughan has secured a second term.

Ward 4:

• Lorenzo L. Fuller Sr. (I)- 282 votes
• Joshua Ward (I)-233 votes

According to unofficial results, Fuller wins the Ward 4 seat.

Ward 5:

• Dante L. Elbin (R)-304 votes
• Anthony Snow (I)-265 votes

Gulfport:

Mayor:

• Hugh Keating (R)- 6,428 votes
• Sonya Williams Barnes (D)-5,309 votes

Ward 2:

• Ron Roland (R)-00%
• Valeria Ewing (D)-00%

Ward 4:

• B. ‘Rusty’ Walker (R)-00%
• Dalaney Lee Mecham (I)-00%

Ward 5:

• J. Sellers (R)-00%
• Craig Elliot Raybon (D)-00%

Ward 6:

• Robert ‘R. Lee’ Flowers (R)-544 votes
• Carissa Corbett (D)-915 votes

According to unofficial results, Corbett wins the Ward 6 election. She unseats incumbent R. Lee Flowers.

Moss Point:

Mayor:

• Richard McBride (R)-69votes
• Billy Knight Sr. (D)-1,006 votes

Mayor Knight seems poised to win re-election, however, the City of Moss Point has to count the vote totals from Ward 6 South. News 25 will update these numbers as soon as they become available.

Ocean Springs:

Alderman at Large:

• Matthew Hinton (R)-1,659 votes
• Oren Zweig (I)- 850 votes

According to unofficial results, Hinton wins the Alderman at Large election.

Ward 1:

• Steve Tillis (R)-280 votes
• Greg Gipson (I)-188 votes

According to unofficial results, Tillis wins the seat for Ward 1.

Ward 5:

• Robert Blackman (R)-273 votes
• James E. Lewis (I)-204 votes

According to unofficial results, Blackman is the winner of the Ward 5 election.

Pascagoula:

Ward 1:

• Carlos R. Stallworth Sr. (I)-61 votes
• Michael Rodgers (D)-58 votes

Pass Christian:

Ward 1: Barry Dreyfus and Betty Sparkman will both appear on the ballot. However, Sparkman has withdrawn her name from the race. She withdrew her name on April 21, 2025. The city is required to use the ballots they have printed. The commission notified voters that Sparkman does not intend to serve as alderman even if she receives a majority of votes.

Ward 2:

• Regina Charlot (D)-89 votes
• Joseph Piernas (I)-126 votes

According to unofficial results, Piernas has unseated incumbent Charlot for the Ward 2 seat.

Wiggins:

Mayor:

• Darrell Berry (I)- 558 votes
• Heather Patterson (R)- 282 votes

According to unofficial results, Mayor Darrell Berry wins re-election.

Alderman at Large:

• Sharon Jones Crockett (I)- 346 votes
• Jared Harris (R)- 486 votes

According to unofficial results, Harris wins the Alderman at Large election.
