MSU’s Local Products Excited for First Game Back on the Coast
Besides flaunting one of the most talented rosters in the nation, another big draw for tomorrow night’s game is the homecoming of two former Coast standouts from Gulfport.
Jazzmun Holmes, a sophomore from Harrison Central, and Ameshya Williams, a freshman from West Harrison, haven’t played an official game back on the Gulf Coast since their high school days.
The two have combined to play 48 minutes in the team’s first two games and should factor into MSU’s depth throughout the course of the season.
For now, these two local products are just happy to be back in their old stomping grounds.
Williams and her Lady Hurricanes came up just short of the 5A title last year, falling by 15 points to Holmes County Central in the championship game.
