MSU Head Women’s Basketball Coach named SEC Coach of the Year

Over in Starkville, some high praise for Mississippi State head women’s basketball Coach Vic Schaefer who’s been named the SEC Coach of the Year.
In terms of regular season success, this year tops all the rest in the program’s history with the Bulldogs closing out 2018 with a perfect record of 30-0.
This is also MSU’s first regular season crown which was well represented by the players as well. Eight Bulldogs received league honors, headlined by Victoria Vivians and Teaira McCowan as first team all SEC selections.
