MSDH reports 947 cases of COVID-19

Today, MSDH is reporting an additional 947 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 61 deaths.

Eleven of these deaths occurred between September 16^th and October 2^nd and 50 deaths occurred between August 20^th and September 29^th, identified from death certificate reports.

Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases is now 491,724 with 9,749 deaths.
