MSDH reports 820 COVID-19 cases and 41 deaths statewide

MSDH is reporting an additional 820 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 41 deaths.

Twelve of these deaths occurred between September 8 and October 11, and an additional 29 deaths occurred between October 4, 2020 and October 6, 2021, identified from death certificate reports.

Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases is now 496,132, with 9,874 deaths.
