MSDH reports 7,839 new cases of COVID-19 and 48 deaths statewide

Today MSDH is reporting an additional 7,839 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 48 deaths.

Eleven of these deaths occurred between January 10 and February 3.

An additional 37 deaths occurred between January 13 and February 3, identified from death certificate reports. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases is now 751,862, with 11,250 deaths.
