MSDH reports 719 cases of COVID-19 and 26 deaths statewide

Today MSDH is reporting an additional 719 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 26 deaths. 16 of these deaths occurred between October 2 and October 11.

An additional 10 deaths occurred between September 3 and October 5, identified from death certificate reports.

Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases is now 496,851, with 9,900 deaths.
