MSDH reports 2,575 COVID-19 cases and 29 new deaths

Mississippi State Department of Health reports 2,575 new COVID-19 cases and 29 new deaths.

The statewide total now stands at 218,386 confirmed cases and 4,816 deaths.

Here’s a look at the numbers in our area:

• Hancock County now stands at 2,074 cases and 55 deaths
• Harrison County has 10,843 cases and 157 deaths
• Jackson County has 8,820 cases and 159 deaths
• George County has 1,740 cases and 35 deaths
• Stone County has 1,202 cases and 18 deaths
• Pearl River County has 2,633 cases and 81 deaths
