MSDH reports 2,327 new COVID-19 cases and 41 new deaths

The Mississippi State Department of Health reported 2,327 new COVID-19 cases and 41 new deaths including two in Jackson County.

The statewide total stands at 175,282 confirmed cases and 4,124 deaths.

Here are the numbers in our area:

• Hancock County has 1,454 cases and still 45 deaths
• Harrison County is now at 8,433 cases and 119 deaths
• Jackson County has 7,274 cases and still 139 deaths
• Stone County has 942 cases and 15 deaths
• George County has 1,455 cases and 29 deaths
• Pearl River County stands at 1,924 total cases and 73 deaths
