MSDH reports 1,505 new COVID-19 cases and 30 deaths

The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting an additional 1,505 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 30 deaths.

Nine of these deaths occurred between September 20^th and September 23^rd.  An additional 21 deaths occurred between July 18^th and September 19^th, identified from death certificate reports.

Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases is now 482,902 with 9,425 deaths.
