MS Gulf Coast CC ends the regular season on a high note sweeping Hinds CC 5-3 and 3-2

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College hosting Hinds Community College for their regular season finale.

Hinds struck first with a three-run lead shutting out the Bulldogs until the 8th inning. Gulf Coast didn’t just score once, but five times in the bottom of the 8th.

The bases were loaded for Colby Wilson and he takes advantage of it with a two-run RBI single. Then comes Hancock’s Tanner Ladner with a hard hit ball to short stop. Ladner with an RBI double that gave the Bulldogs their first lead 4-3. Landon Holliman joins in on the run with an RBI sac fly to right field and that’s all the blue and gold needed!

The pitching was tag teamed by two Gulf Coast alums in the form of Pascagoula’s

Gulf Coast with gritty game won with thanks to a 5-run eighth inning. They swept Hinds with finals score of 5-3 and 3-2. They will now head to Poplarville next week for the Region 23 tournament!
