Motorcyclist dies in one-vehicle accident in Gautier

Gautier Police are investigating a single vehicle crash on Sunday that claimed the life of one person.

About 12:20 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a motorcycle crash. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the passenger was taken to a local hospital by Acadian Ambulance.

The identity of the driver has not been released pending notification of next of kin, Jackson County Coroner Bruce Lynd said.
