Moss Point special call meeting to discuss personnel matter

The City of Moss Point will have a meeting at 6 p.m. tonight to discuss a personnel matter that apparently involves the city’s fire chief.

A special called meeting lists an executive session, citing only that it is a personnel matter.

Other media outlets are reporting that Fire Chief Danny Wade was placed on leave over a personnel matter.

Battalion Chief Henry Goff has been serving as a head of the department the last two weeks, according to reports.
