Moss Point receives individual assistance after tornado

Moss Point will finally get some relief through FEMA after a long battle for assistance.

President Biden has approved individual assistance for Jackson County residents effected by the tornado that took place in late June.

This assistance will include grants for temporary housing, home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and more.

This also applies to business owners in the River City.

To apply, you can visit disasterassistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-3362. Give them the code ‘FEMA-4727 DR-MS.’
