Moss Point QB Deuce Lee II commits to Hinds Community College

For the last two years region 8 class 4A has run through Moss Point and a big reason why is the man under center.

Today, senior quarterback Ruben ‘Deuce’ Lee II made a decision for his future, committing to Hinds Community College.

He’s going the juco route despite having a couple division I offers to his name.

In 2020, he was arguably the best passer on the Coast, throwing for 27 touchdowns, tied for ninth best in the state, and over 2,200 yards, 15^th best in the state.

Despite getting upset by Lawrence County in the first round of the playoffs, Lee was a key cog in leading Moss Point to back-to-back region 8 class 4A titles and the program’s first post-season win last year since 2015.
