Moss Point Police Chief to resign

Shortly after 3 today, Moss Point Mayor Mario King announced Police Chief Calvin Hutchins will be resigning from the department.
Chief Hutchins began his career in law enforcement with the Moss Point Police Department and has served as chief since March 2017.
News 25 reached out to Mayor Mario King who said that Chief Hutchins will be leaving not for his retirement, but for a better job opportunity.
