Moss Point Police Chief to Meet with Board of Aldermen

Moss Point Police Chief Art McClung is ready to tell his side of the story.
Tomorrow night, McClung will meet with the board of aldermen about his July 29th traffic stop in Pascagoula.
An officer says he clocked McClung going over 100 miles per hour. McClung admitted later to having drinks. One of Pascagoula’s officers then drove the police chief home.
After last week’s story was released to the public, the board of aldermen called an emergency meeting and voted to indefinitely suspend McClung without pay pending an internal investigation.
