Moss Point man in custody and charged with aggravated assault
A Moss Point man is in custody and charged in the shooting of another man on June 3rd.
Sheriff Mike Ezell says 30-year-old Christopher Allen McNemar is charged with aggravated assault. He is accused of shooting a man on the side of Highway 613 near Wisteria Drive in Escatawpa.
The victim was originally taken to Singing River Hospital and later transported to USA Medical Center in Mobile. He has since been released.
McNemar is in the Jackson County Adult Detention Center with no bond at this time.
