Moss Point man convicted of capital murder denied appeal by state, U.S. Supreme courts

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday decided not to hear an appeal by a Mississippi man convicted of capital murder.
The state Supreme Court also denied his appeal for post conviction relief, which was handed down Friday.
Leslie ‘Bo’ Galloway of Moss Point was convicted in 2010 of the 2008 rape and murder of 17-year-old Shakeylia Anderson of Gulfport.
Anderson’s body was found on a dirt logging road in rural Harrison County.
Galloway’s conviction and death sentence have been affirmed by the state Supreme Court on direct appeal and subsequent motions have been denied.
He also was denied an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court in 2014.
