Moss Point hosting Earth Day celebration on April 20th

The City of Moss Point will be hosting Earth Day in the River City next Saturday, April 20.

The Earth Day celebration will take place from 9 in the morning until noon, happening at four nature-based locations around the area.

Experts will share information about important conservation messages and actions the public can do to make the world a better place.

The coolest part is, visiting all four locations will allow you to earn a special prize.

Details on the prize start when you begin your tour.

Locations to visit include Sawmill Landing Park and the Arthur Street Habitat Restoration.

At Sawmill Landing Park, guests will have the chance to learn about biodiversity and are given a chance to adopt a tree.

Guests will learn about stormwater management at the Arthur Street Habitat Restoration.

The Pascagoula River Audubon Center will teach guests about the native plants in the area while the Ina Thompson Moss Point Library will be teaching about recycling.
