Moss Point graduate celebrates World Series victory
A Moss Point High School graduate is celebrating today. Tony Sipp is a pitcher on the Houston Astros.
Last night his team beat the Dodgers 5-1 in game seven of the World Series, earning the Astros their first World Series title.
Here is a photo of Tony in the locker room after the game. He is smoking a victory cigar and holding up the World Series trophy.
Tony was born in Pascagoula and he helped Moss Point win a high school football championship in 2000. Tony pitched in 46 games for the Astros this past season.
