Moss Point Fine Art Gallery holds reception for new exhibit
The Moss Point Fine Art Gallery is holding a free reception tonight to celebrate its new three-dimensional art exhibit.
Artist Megan Zaniewski stopped by the exhibit meeting attendees. Her exhibit, Nature Comes to life in Silk and Thread, showcases unique embroidery art.
Based in Biloxi, Megan’s art is inspired by nature. She uses embroidery techniques to capture nature’s realistic detail.
The exhibit will run through October 10th.
Pascagoula Audubon River Center’s Office Coordinator Leslie Price says this art offers something everyone can enjoy. “She has a variety of pieces that depict everything from your backyard sound birds to your shore birds, also, you know, from butterflies to lily pads. There’s a little bit of everything.”
Megan’s work is displayed in collections worldwide.
