Moss Point citizens recognized for action
MOSS POINT, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Moss Point recognized four people at their city council meeting Tuesday.
The city says these four stepped up when it mattered most.
First up is Firefighter Nigel Hubbard, receiving the Firefighter Recognition Award. The city says he went above and beyond in a job that’s already demanding.
Officer Jawaiian Sipp earned the Citizen Rescue Recognition Award from Chief Dennis Stevenson.
A local resident received the Citizen Certificate of Valor from Chief Stevenson. Hannah White received the award for being a courageous member of the community who showed up when it mattered most.
Sgt. Lucas Hodges received the Heroic Act Recognition from the chief. City officials saying these are the people who make the community as great as it is.
