Moss Point candidates speak at forum
MOSS POINT, Miss. (WXXV)-The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce hosted the Moss Point Candidate Forum at Pelican Landing on Wednesday.
The forum focused on the four alderman races that will appear on the Democratic primary ballot next Tuesday.
Candidates were given the opportunity to answer questions on vital issues affecting their community and voters.
Speaking at the forum were the candidates for Wards 1, 3, and 4 alderman positions as well as the alderman at large bid.
While this forum was specifically for the alderman races, the City of Moss Point will also have their mayoral election between current Mayor Billy Knight and candidate Gerald McGee on the ballot for the primary election that will take place on Tuesday, April 1st.
