Moss Point Aggravated Assault
A separate case of aggravated assault in Jackson County sends one person to the hospital after being stabbed at a home in Moss Point.
About 7:30 last night, deputies responded to a call from a woman claiming her ex-boyfriend, Charlie Whitney Jr., came to her home uninvited, stabbed a guest and then left the scene. The victim was taken to Singing River Hospital with injuries that do not appear to be life threatening. Whitney has been arrested and charged in this case.
