Morning apartment fire in Gulfport

A fire broke out at an apartment in Gulfport around 7:30 this morning.
Responders say signs indicate the fire began in the bedroom of an apartment off of 45th Avenue. There was extensive smoke damage, limited to that one unit. No one was home and no injuries were reported.
The cause of that fire is still under investigation.
