More showers and storms on the way
A few showers or thunderstorms could pop up tonight, but the bigger rain chances arrive Friday. Expect a mostly cloudy day with temperatures topping out near 89° and a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some locations could pick up a quarter to a half-inch of rain.
Storm chances increase further Saturday, with a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon and evening. Highs will again be near 89°.
Sunday will bring another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms, with a 60% rain chance and highs around 91°.
For Labor Day, the pattern continues with a 50% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms and a high near 92°.
Looking beyond the holiday, daily rain and storm chances remain in the forecast through next Thursday. Temperatures will generally stay in the upper 80s to low 90s, with overnight lows near 75°.
