In Mobile, Alabama, the MoonPie New Year’s Eve party organizers are making sure the pie drop is ready. Organizers tested the thousand pound MoonPie that will be lowered 450 feet in 60 seconds just before midnight. Organizers say this year’s event could be the biggest yet.
Last year’s New Year’s Eve party brought more than 60,000 people to downtown Mobile.
