An area of low pressure to the south west is pushing northward bringing with it lots of warm and moist air from the Gulf of Mexico. This will fuel showers and pop up thunderstorms for the rest of the week. Temperatures will stay steady in the 60s and 70s and sunny skies will return for the weekend.
