Model Mixer at the Beau Rivage in preparation for Renaissance the Runway
The Bacot McCarty Foundation is preparing for its annual Renaissance the Runway fundraiser.
Beau Rivage and Top Golf partnered to host the model mixer last night. Participants in the fashion show gathered for a meet-and-greet with local boutiques, whose clothes will be modeled, with about 80 models set to strut their stuff.
Renaissance the Runway is one of the foundation’s largest fundraisers, having grossed millions of dollars in previous years for non-profits across the Coast.
This year, it is set to bring in more than a quarter of a million dollars. Bacot McCarty Foundation Executive Director Todd Trenchard said, “Our seventh year of holding the Renaissance the Runway which started off as what I thought would be a small thing has become one of the Coast’s sort of must-see go to events. All this money goes back to helping your scholarships. So, it’s a great cause we’ll be raffling off some great items. Golf cart, a pink golf cart, we have a Barbie theme. So, you see a lot of pink and just going to have a lot of fun with it. And, you know, we certainly can’t thank the support that people have given the Bacot Foundation all these years.”
Renaissance the Runway is officially sold out and it’s taking place next Thursday at the IP Casino. Visit bacotfoundation.org to donate to the organization and for more information on the event.
