Model Contractor Development Program

Are you looking to start a small business? If so, the Steps Coalition will help you get on the right path to success with their Model Contractor Development Program Event.

Already in week six, the program consists of a training course for nine weeks to help minority-owned, women-owned, and anyone else looking to take their business to the next level. The course takes place at the Knight Nonprofit Center in Gulfport from 6 to 9 p.m.

There’s a new speaker each week that instructs participants on how to run and maintain a successful business. Steps Coalition Managing Director Jonathan Green said, “Our goal is to, especially with small businesses, minority business, and women-owned businesses, our goal is to empower those organizations to be able to participate in that economic renaissance. As the Coast starts seeing more and more development, we want to make sure they are well positioned with the skills, but also finances to be successful.”

The model contractor development program has helped small business owners on the Coast for ten years.
