Mobile food pantry at Back Bay Mission

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- Back Bay Mission’s Mobile Food Pantry opened today.

This drive-thru distribution was made possible thanks to a partnership with Feeding the Gulf Coast.

Volunteers spent the better part of the morning helping families in need.

Anyone who attended with a voucher received a selection of fresh produce, dairy, meat, and dry good groceries and each voucher was one per household or two vouchers per car.

Supplies were also limited and served on a first-come, first served basis.
