MLK Community Resource to be held Saturday

Saturday, the Legacy Business League will host its MLK Community Resource Expo.

There will be a wide variety of resources available, everything from health and wellness, financial empowerment, and housing to veteran and senior services and youth development.

There will also be food trucks onsite, giveaways, and fun for the kids.

The goal of the event is to help the community have a better chance of living the dream that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wanted for everyone. Legacy Business League Co-Chair Angie Juzang said, “You know, it’s just very important to empower individuals who may not know where to get started. So, we wanted to have a one stop shop where people and individuals can really come and talk one on one with these organizations and experts in the fields.”

The MLK Community Expo will take place at the Orange Grove Community Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, January 14th.
